Please do not send any more messages, we only used the restaurant as a starting point for a short hike, but since we are known to have a corona pandemic it was of course closed. But I've been there before and I have fond memories of the KM

What a great piece of earth! On our family weekend in September, we stopped here in the most beautiful sunshine. There was Federweißer and homemade cakes and it was so delicious and so wonderful to sit by the stream ... We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again ...!

Beautiful location, unfortunately with an unfriendly, disgusting host. At 'coffee and cake retreats' you are even 'punished' by him in the afternoons with ignorance and long waiting times. Worst coffee far and wide, is more reminiscent of brown colored broth from the sink.

Eat pizza outside. So it can be endured here very well :)

Great food, by the way, the potato salad is already homemade, nice service, nice beer garden. We will definitely be back 😊

We managed to get a seat on a sunny day. The waitress and the host were a total of 5 times at our table without feeling able to take an order, or perhaps want to take it. Since we wanted coffee and cake, we didn't need a card, possibly a sign that we weren't having a main meal at 2 p.m. and were therefore only taking up unnecessary space. The table was thrown off with a rag that ekes out its existence in a bucket of water that is outside in the warm, a wonderful breeding ground for ALL microorganisms. In front of the terrace there is a table with a kind of "corona guest book" in which you can make entries ... or not. The tables themselves have no numbers. The waiter wears the mask as a chin guard. Since he didn't even help with the operation, it didn't matter. After about 20 minutes we left.

Delicious meal. Sitting by the water. Kingfisher and dipper discovered. Pure nature. Nothing more is needed.

This beautiful mill is a must for all hikers to stop off at. Delicious food and drinks and a great location are just a treat.

Very good Franconian food, trout is incredibly well prepared, legendarily delicious. Those who hope for good cakes will be disappointed. The cook is really good at something hearty.

Idyllic beer garden in a beautiful environment! Dishes I've eaten have all been great. Always come back here! PS: there is no (hardly) mobile network here :)

For years, my whole family loves the cake mill in the beautiful Wiesenttal. Constantly good food. Great schnitzel and trout! The location together with garden, old watermill is just great. It is especially nice to walk there from Doos.

Home-style dishes. Nice personel. In summer you can sit outside.

The first time in the cake mill and are very pleasantly surprised. The location is unique ... Pure nature ... the food is very good ... the service was very friendly and courteous .... absolutely recommendable ..

We he lunch at this lovely old mill with a stream flowing by the main dining room. The place was bright and traditional and extremely busy when we arrived for lunch. The service was prompt and food came out warm and freshly prepared. 4 of us had the schnitzel with French fries, pan fried trout (forella) and pan fried saibling, a fish with pale pink flesh like salmon. The schnitzel was juicy and the breaded coating was thin and crispy. Both fishes were extremely fresh and the German potato salad was delicious, not too sour. We tried 3 types of cake, the cherry chocolate chip, Bienenstich and chocolate cream cake. The tasted fresh, home made and not too sweet. Really a wonderful lunch in a beautiful rustic setting with fresh air.
